Tasks & Follow-ups
Tasks help you stay on top of action items across your practice. Whether it's following up with a client, completing paperwork, or reviewing a treatment plan, tasks keep everything organized and visible.
Creating a Task
- Navigate to Tasks in the sidebar
- Click New Task
- Fill in the details:
- Title -- A clear description of what needs to be done
- Assignee -- The practitioner responsible for completing the task
- Due date -- When the task should be completed
- Priority -- Low, medium, or high
- Client -- Optionally link the task to a specific client
- Click Save
Task Types
- Manual tasks -- Created by you or your team for ad-hoc action items
- Follow-up tasks -- Linked to a client appointment for post-session actions
- Auto-generated tasks -- Created automatically from treatment plans when milestones or check-ins are due
Managing Tasks
- Filter by assignee, status, priority, or due date
- Mark complete when a task is finished
- Reassign tasks to a different practitioner if responsibilities shift
- Overdue tasks are highlighted so nothing slips through the cracks
Treatment Plan Tasks
When you set up a treatment plan for a client, Stillpoint can automatically generate follow-up tasks based on the plan timeline. These tasks appear in each practitioner's task list with the client and plan details pre-filled.
Tips
- Check your task list at the start of each day to prioritize your work
- Use the client link to quickly jump to a client's profile from a task
- Completed tasks are archived but remain searchable for reference
