Data Deletion

Last updated: August 18, 2026

This page explains how to have your data removed from Stillpoint, including any data we received from a social account you connected. For how we handle data generally, see our Privacy Policy.

1. Connected social accounts

If your practice connected a Facebook Page or Instagram account so Stillpoint could publish on its behalf, we store the account name and identifier, an access token, and a record of the posts we published for you, including their identifiers and permalinks.

To remove the access token yourself: sign in and go to Online, then Social, then Settings, and choose Disconnect on the account. The stored access token is deleted immediately and Stillpoint can no longer publish to or read from that account.

If you cannot reach that screen, because Stillpoint Social is no longer active on your plan or has been turned off for your practice, email us instead and we will disconnect the account for you. Losing access to the feature never means losing the ability to have the credential removed.

Disconnecting deliberately keeps the record that the account was connected and the history of posts already published through it. Practices rely on that history, and reconnecting later reattaches to it rather than starting over. If you want those records deleted as well, ask us using the section below.

Posts you had already scheduled to that account also stay in the queue. They cannot go out while the account is disconnected, but reconnecting the same account can start them sending again. Tell us if you want them cancelled rather than left queued, and we will remove them.

You can also remove Stillpoint from the Facebook or Instagram side at any time, under Settings and Privacy, then Settings, then Business Integrations. Removing it there revokes our access but does not delete records already stored in Stillpoint, so use the steps above as well if that is what you want.

2. Requesting full deletion

Email help@withstillpoint.com from the address on the account, and tell us what you want deleted: a connected social account and its publishing history, your Stillpoint account, or your entire practice and its data.

We respond to verified requests within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we may retain records where the law requires it, for example payment and billing documentation.

3. Practitioners and practice data

Practitioners can export practice data, including client records and clinical notes, at any time from practice settings. Do that before requesting deletion, because deletion is not reversible.

4. Clients of a practice

If you booked an appointment through a practice using Stillpoint, that practice controls your records. You can contact the practice directly, or email us at help@withstillpoint.comand we will help. Some clinical records are subject to the practitioner’s recordkeeping obligations and cannot be deleted on request.
