Booking Settings
Control when and how clients can book appointments through your online booking page. These settings help you manage your schedule and set clear expectations.
Booking Window
Define how far in advance clients can book:
- Minimum advance notice -- The shortest notice you require (e.g., 2 hours, 24 hours)
- Maximum booking window -- How far into the future clients can schedule (e.g., 30 days, 90 days)
Cancellation Policy
Set your practice's cancellation policy, which is displayed to clients during the booking process:
- Cancellation window -- How much notice is required to cancel without a fee (e.g., 24 hours before)
- Policy text -- A custom message explaining your cancellation terms
- Clients see this policy before confirming their booking
Additional Settings
- Confirmation emails -- Automatically sent when a booking is made
- Reminder notifications -- Email or SMS reminders before appointments
- Buffer time -- Add padding between appointments to prevent back-to-back scheduling
Configuring Settings
- Navigate to Booking Page in the sidebar
- Open the Settings section of the editor
- Adjust the values for each setting
- Changes save automatically
Tips
- A 24-hour minimum notice is a common starting point for most practices
- Keep your cancellation policy clear and visible to reduce disputes
- Enable SMS reminders to significantly reduce no-shows
- Set a booking window that matches your scheduling rhythm (weekly, monthly)
