The booking settings control when and how clients can self-book through your page. Tune them to match how your practice actually operates.
Booking Settings
Updated May 7, 2026
Booking window
- Minimum advance notice. The shortest notice you'll accept (e.g., 2 hours, 24 hours).
- Maximum booking window. How far into the future clients can book (e.g., 30 days, 90 days).
Cancellation policy
- Cancellation window. How much notice is required to cancel without a fee.
- Policy text. A custom message clients see during booking.
- Cancellation fees themselves are configured separately; see No-Show Policies for fee setup.
Consultation-first
If you require new clients to book a consultation before regular services, toggle Require consultation first. New clients on your booking page see only the consultation service until they've completed one.
Card on file
- Toggle Require card on file to make clients save a payment method before booking. Solo and above.
- Useful when you charge cancellation or no-show fees automatically.
Where to configure
- Open Booking Page in the sidebar.
- Open the Settings section of the editor.
- Adjust each value.
- Changes save automatically; publish to make them live.
Tips
- A 24-hour minimum notice is a common starting point.
- Keep cancellation policy text plain and visible. Hidden policies create disputes later.
- Pair card-on-file with cancellation fees to actually enforce the policy.
