Create a Booking
You can create bookings manually from the calendar whenever you need to schedule an appointment on behalf of a client.
Steps
- Navigate to the Calendar page.
- Click the New Booking button, or click directly on an empty time slot.
- Fill in the booking form:
- Client -- Search for an existing client or create a new one inline.
- Service -- Select the service from your list. The duration and price auto-fill based on the service configuration.
- Practitioner -- If your practice has multiple practitioners, choose the one providing the service.
- Date & time -- Pick an available date and time slot.
- Notes -- Optionally add internal notes that won't be visible to the client.
- Click Create Booking to confirm.
What happens next
- The appointment appears on the calendar immediately
- The client receives a confirmation email (and SMS if enabled)
- A reminder is sent automatically before the appointment based on your notification settings
Things to keep in mind
- You can only book times that fall within the selected practitioner's availability
- If a client doesn't exist yet, you can create their profile as part of the booking flow
- The service price shown is the default; you can adjust it on the invoice later if needed
