Manage Bookings
After a booking is created, you can view its details, make changes, or cancel it at any time.
Viewing booking details
Click on any appointment in the calendar to open the booking detail panel. Here you'll see:
- Client name and contact information
- Service type, duration, and price
- Appointment date and time
- Any notes attached to the booking
- Booking status (confirmed, pending, cancelled)
Rescheduling
There are two ways to reschedule:
- Drag and drop -- In the calendar view, drag the appointment block to a new time slot. A confirmation prompt appears before the change is saved.
- Edit form -- Open the booking detail panel and click Edit. Change the date, time, or practitioner, then save.
When you reschedule, the client is automatically notified of the new date and time.
Cancelling
- Open the booking detail panel.
- Click Cancel Booking.
- Optionally add a cancellation reason.
- Confirm the cancellation.
The client receives a cancellation notification. Cancelled bookings remain visible on the calendar with a strikethrough style so you maintain a complete history.
Tips
- Use drag and drop for quick time adjustments within the same day
- Cancellation reasons help you track patterns (e.g., frequent no-shows)
- You can filter the calendar to hide cancelled bookings if they create clutter
