Your first appointment can come from either side: you create it on the calendar, or a client self-books through your published page. Both end up the same way, with a real appointment on the calendar and a confirmation email sent.
Book Your First Client
Updated May 6, 2026
Path 1: book it yourself
- Open the Calendar and click New Booking, or click directly on an empty time slot.
- Pick the client from the search list. If they aren't in your practice yet, you can create their record inline by entering their name and contact info.
- Choose the service (and the practitioner, if you have a team).
- Pick a date and time within your availability.
- Add any internal notes the client won't see.
- Click Create Booking.
The appointment lands on the calendar instantly. The client gets a confirmation email (and an SMS if their record has a phone number and reminders are enabled).
Path 2: let the client self-book
- Share your published booking page link with the client.
- They pick a service, choose a practitioner if there are options, see available times, and fill in their contact info.
- They confirm and the appointment shows up on your calendar automatically. No data entry on your side.
Once it's on the calendar
- Click the appointment to view details, add session notes, or charge a fee.
- Drag the appointment to a new time slot to reschedule. The client gets an updated confirmation.
- Mark it complete after the session, or cancel it (with or without a fee) if needed.
If something needs to change
You can reschedule, cancel, or mark as no-show from the appointment detail panel. The client is notified automatically. Cancelled appointments stay on the calendar with a cancelled style so you keep a complete history.
