Google, Outlook & iCal Sync
Keep your Stillpoint calendar in sync with Google Calendar, Outlook, or any iCal-compatible app. External events block off your availability, and Stillpoint appointments appear on your personal calendar.
Connecting Google Calendar
- Navigate to Integrations in the sidebar
- Click Connect Google Calendar
- Sign in with your Google account and grant permission
- Choose which Google calendar to sync with (personal, work, etc.)
- Click Save
Connecting Outlook Calendar
- Navigate to Integrations
- Click Connect Outlook Calendar
- Sign in with your Microsoft account and authorize access
- Select your Outlook calendar
- Click Save
iCal Feed
For calendars that don't support OAuth (Apple Calendar, other apps), use the iCal feed:
- Go to Integrations
- Copy your iCal feed URL
- Add it as a subscription in your calendar app
- The feed updates automatically (read-only -- Stillpoint events appear on your calendar but changes must be made in Stillpoint)
How Sync Works
- Stillpoint processes domain events every minute to keep calendars current
- Creates -- New Stillpoint bookings appear on your external calendar
- Updates -- Rescheduled or modified bookings update automatically
- Deletes -- Cancelled bookings are removed from your external calendar
- External events block your Stillpoint availability so clients can't double-book you
Tips
- Use two-way sync (Google or Outlook) for the most seamless experience
- The iCal feed is read-only and best for viewing Stillpoint events in a secondary app
- If sync seems delayed, check that your external calendar account is still connected
