A welcome sequence is a series of timed emails that start when a new client signs up or books their first appointment. Instead of one welcome message, you introduce your practice, share useful info, and prompt a second booking across multiple touches.
Welcome sequences are available on Solo and above.
How it works
When a new client is created, Stillpoint kicks off the welcome sequence. Each step is an email that sends after a delay you configure (immediately, 2 days later, a week later, etc.).
Set up a sequence
- Open Emails and find the Welcome Sequence section (or open it directly via Sequences in Settings).
- Review the default steps or click Add Step to add new ones.
- For each step, set:
- Email content: subject, body, and merge tags.
- Delay: how many days after the previous step (or trigger) to send.
- Reorder steps by dragging them.
- Toggle the sequence on at the top of the page.
Example sequence
- Step 1 (immediate): welcome email with practice overview and what to expect.
- Step 2 (2 days later): tips for preparing for their first visit.
- Step 3 (7 days later): check-in asking how their experience was, with a booking link.
Enable, disable, edit
- Toggle the whole sequence on or off without losing your config.
- Disable individual steps to skip them while keeping the rest active.
- Clients already mid-sequence keep receiving remaining steps unless the sequence is fully disabled.
Tips
- Keep welcome emails short. Don't dump everything in step one.
- Each email should have one clear next action (book again, complete intake, etc.).
- Test the full sequence with a test client and watch the emails arrive.
