Services are the building blocks of your scheduling and billing workflow. Adding one wires it into the booking page, calendar, and invoices in one step.
Create a Service

Steps
- Open Services in the sidebar.
- Click Add Service.
- Fill in the required fields:
- Service name (clear and client-facing).
- Duration in minutes.
- Price charged for the service.
- Optionally configure:
- Description for the booking page.
- Category to group related services together.
- Color for the calendar block.
- Buffer time before or after to keep transitions clean.
- Service mode (individual or group, with capacity for groups).
- Auto-invoice toggle to generate the invoice automatically when the appointment is created.
- Assign one or more practitioners who deliver this service.
- Click Save.
After saving
The new service is immediately:
- Available when scheduling appointments.
- Visible on your booking page if it's published.
- Selectable when creating invoices and insurance claims.
Pricing tips
- Set the price to reflect your full session rate. You can adjust on a specific invoice later.
- For insurance billing, align with the standard CPT code rate you'll be claiming.
- If pricing varies by practitioner, the per-practitioner pricing override (gated by the customPricing flag) is the cleanest way to handle it.
Duration tips
- Include intake and wrap-up in the total duration so the calendar blocks the right amount of time.
- Use buffer time for cleaning, charting, or transitioning to the next room rather than padding the duration itself.
