Services is where you define everything your practice offers. Services flow into your booking page, calendar, invoices, and insurance claims, so getting them right pays off everywhere.

What's on the page
- A list of services with name, duration, price, and assigned practitioners.
- Status indicators showing active or archived.
- Optional category grouping (gated by the serviceCategories flag).
Each service has
- Name clients see when booking (e.g., "60-Minute Massage").
- Duration the appointment takes.
- Price charged for it.
- Description shown on your booking page.
- Assigned practitioners who deliver it.
- Buffer time before and after (used to prevent back-to-back bookings).
- Service mode: individual or group. Group services are how you build classes; see Group Classes.
Day-to-day
- Click a service to view or edit it.
- Use Add Service to create a new offering. See Create a Service.
- Archive services you no longer offer; they stay on historical records.
- Reorder services to control how they appear on your booking page.
Per-practitioner pricing
If different practitioners charge differently for the same service, the customPricing flag unlocks per-practitioner price and duration overrides. Off by default; ask your account owner if you need it.
Tips
- Keep service names client-friendly. They show up on the public booking page.
- Set durations that include intake and wrap-up time. Use buffer time for transitions between sessions.
- Assign services carefully so the right practitioners surface for each offering.
