Availability Rules
Availability rules define your regular, recurring weekly schedule. They tell Stillpoint which hours you're available for bookings on each day of the week.
Creating a rule
- Navigate to Availability in the sidebar.
- Click Add Rule.
- Select the days of the week the rule applies to (e.g., Monday, Wednesday, Friday).
- Set the start time and end time for those days.
- If your practice has multiple practitioners, choose which practitioner the rule applies to.
- Click Save.
Multiple rules
You can create as many rules as you need. Common setups include:
- Standard work week -- One rule for Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
- Split schedule -- Two rules for the same days (e.g., 9 AM to 12 PM and 2 PM to 5 PM) to block out a lunch break.
- Weekend hours -- A separate rule for Saturday mornings.
Editing and deleting rules
- Click on any existing rule to edit its days, times, or practitioner
- Delete a rule if you no longer need it -- this won't affect past bookings
Things to keep in mind
- Rules repeat every week automatically until you change or remove them
- New rules take effect immediately on your booking page
- If two rules overlap for the same practitioner, the system merges them so clients see one continuous available block
- Buffer time between appointments is configured separately in your service settings
