Import Data

There are two ways to bring data into Stillpoint:

1. The importer for self-serve CSV-based migration. Gated behind the practiceImporter feature flag.
2. Concierge migration where the Stillpoint team moves your data for you. Available as part of the Founding Practitioner Program.

Concierge migration

If you signed up through the Founding cohort or have a complex migration (years of clinical notes, multiple practitioners, custom fields), Stillpoint can handle the move for you. Reach out via help@withstillpoint.com to start the process. There's no in-app self-service flow for this; it's a manual concierge service.

Self-serve importer

When the importer is enabled for your practice, you'll see Import Data in the sidebar.

Steps

1. Open Import Data.
2. Pick the source (CSV or a supported platform).
3. Upload your data file.
4. Map columns to Stillpoint fields. AI-assisted column mapping suggests matches; you can adjust manually.
5. Map practitioners and services between your old system and your Stillpoint records.
6. Validate. The wizard checks for missing required fields and format issues.
7. Preview what will be imported.
8. Commit to run the import.

Duplicate detection

Stillpoint checks incoming records against your existing data using email and name. Duplicates are flagged on the preview step so you can choose to skip, merge, or overwrite.

Tips

• Run a small test import first (a handful of rows) before committing the full file.
• Keep the original export from your old platform as a backup until you've verified everything is in place.
• For large or complex moves, concierge migration is usually less stressful than wrestling with the importer.
