Data Import

Moving to Stillpoint from another platform? The import wizard walks you through bringing your clients, appointments, and practice data with you. We support direct imports from popular platforms and generic CSV files.

Supported Sources

Import Wizard Workflow

1. Navigate to Import Data in the sidebar
2. Select your source (CSV or a specific platform)
3. Upload your data file
4. Map columns -- Stillpoint matches columns to fields automatically. For CSV files, AI-powered column mapping suggests the best matches, which you can adjust manually
5. Map practitioners and services -- Match practitioners and services from your old system to your Stillpoint records
6. Validate -- The wizard checks for errors, missing required fields, and data format issues
7. Preview -- Review what will be imported before committing
8. Commit -- Confirm and run the import

Duplicate Detection

Stillpoint checks for existing records that match incoming data based on email address and name. Duplicates are flagged during the preview step so you can choose to skip, merge, or overwrite.

Tips

• Export your data from the old platform first and review the file before importing
• Run a small test import with a few records before importing everything
• Keep your original export file as a backup until you've verified the import is complete
